Vocabulary Voyagers is a literacy app targeted at primary school students to improve their literacy reading skills in a fun, digital environment. It offers a range of preset spelling lists based on the Australian national curriculum and NAPLAN tests. The app also includes more challenging lists in order to expand children’s vocabulary. Not only does Vocabulary Voyagers improve children’s spelling and vocabulary, but it also features games directed at improving reading comprehension, with an original story. With enjoyable mini games and quirky pirates, the app helps children build a foundation to aid in literacy at a secondary level.

The lite version of Vocabulary Voyagers includes 4 different specially designed games.

Spelling Cannons - Is a popular mini game that aims at improving spelling ability with the reward of playing a fun game once a word is spelt correctly

Walk the Plank - Widens Vocabulary while the child plays a fun and interactive game. They learn vital skills such as, how to recognise synonyms and antonyms to commonly used words.

Anytime Reading - A game which reads aloud a story your child. Reading verbally to your child boosts their brain development. At Vocabulary Voyagers we understand that sometimes it can be hard to find the time to do this, so let us do it for you. When your child hears the story aloud they will become faster and better at processing language sounds which will help them in the long run.

Punctuation Pirates - Multiplayer game which teaches children the different types of commonly used punctuation they will use in everyday life. It engages the competitive side of children and motivates them to learn more
