**Improved**- Trail maps: Opened trail maps will retain their zoom level and location so you can quickly return to where you were looking.
- Location sharing friend avatars: Friends will display as faded on the map when their last known location is older than 10 minutes.
**Notice**
On February 7 Google confirmed a regression in their GPS library that causes inaccurate altitude measurements (e.g. missed and split runs). They said they have a fix rolling out to users at the beginning of March.
